Marine Creek Trailhead Trot

In mid-May, I ran the 5K celebrating the opening of the new trail head on Marine Creek Lake. It was cloudy, very windy, and freaking cold for mid-May. I thought it might rain, so I initially wore a cap, but realized the cap probably wouldn’t remain on my head when running on the dam. Luckily, I had one headband with me, and it didn’t end up raining. My time was faster than I expected, because I walked some, and stopped completely at one point to stretch out my calves.
