Cowtown Training Week 14: Back at it (Maybe)

I’m still having some shin pain, but it’s getting better. I managed to drag myself to the gym twice this week for bike sessions. I’m still going light on the leg weights at Body Pump. We started the new release this week, and the lunge track is no joke! This was the first time in months my legs felt sore after Body Pump. Saturday morning, I decided to meet up with my neighborhood group and try a short run. My shin started feeling a little more painful after a mile/mile and a half, so it turned into a walk. I was happy to get back outside, though! It was a nice morning, but I didn’t get any nice photos. So, here’s one with Aggie on the way home. She was more excited than I was to go running. I spent the rest of Saturday in my compression socks, and they felt wonderful. Saturday night, I went to a birthday party for a friend and then to our neighborhood ladies game night. It was a lot of fun!
